About the Artist

Don Miller has lived around the Great Lakes all his life. As a Muskie Charter Captain on Lake St. Clair each summer, he has had more than 30 years of experience studying ducks and their habits. His ducks have won numerous awards and notoriety, not only for Don's expertise in wood carving, but also for the life-like personalities, poses, and expressions his waterfowl portray. The feathers are hand carved and painted with such attention to detail that they look soft and petable, just like the real thing.
